Q: Is Home Watch Central an association?
A: We are not an industry trade association. We are a membership organization that supports home watch businesses by providing resources which includes providing a Standards of Practice, marketing resources, insurance, and more.
Q: Do I have to become a member to take the training?
A: Currently you have to become a member to access Home Watch Central resources including training. However, membership is FREE for a limited time, so there is no reason not to join!
Q: Can anyone become Home Watch Central Certified?
A: No. You have to be an active member to become Home Watch Central Certified.
Q: If I am a member of another organization can I still join Home Watch Central?
A: Absolutely.
Q: I have been through another Home Watch training program. Do I need to take your courses too?
A: Yes. Home Watch Central’s Courses fill knowledge gaps that we identified in the training currently available.
Q: I see you have several social media posts and blog posts available for purchase. Will you be adding new social content regularly?
A: Yes we will. We will also introduce a subscription option allowing businesses to subscribe to monthly social content. Stay tuned!

Obtain a Dishonesty Bond and approved General Liability and Professional Liability Insurance.

Successfully complete the Standards of Practice and Risk Management Course.

Agree to adhere to the Home Watch Standards of Practice.

Become a Member of Home Watch Central.

Pay a $95 Application Processing Fee.

Q: How long does the Home Watch Central Certification last for?
A: The certification is good for one year and can be renewed.
